| 1. Mesh or Opening? |

| This question is probably the most confusing part of ordering wire cloth or mesh. | ||
| Mesh and opening describe different ways to measure the width of the space in a mesh product. | ||
| One way to describe wire cloth is by it mesh size. Mesh is distance across the opening from the center of one wire | ||
| to the center of the next. This is often called "on centers." | ||
| When measuring fine mesh, the mesh size is the number of | ||
| meshes per lineal inch. |

| The other way wire cloth size is expressed is by opening or opg. |

| Wire cloth opening is the distance from the inside of one | |
| wire to the inside of the next. | |

The difference between mesh and opening may seem very minute, however, there is a huge difference in the finished product.
Knowing the Direction of your slotted mesh is also necessary when ordering

3. Process: Welded or Woven?
Both products have very distinct characteristics. If you are unsure of what style of mesh you need contact us and one of our friendly employees will assist you.
4. Material:
We offer welded mesh in Stainless Steel, Galvanized and Steel. Our woven line of meshes is available in Stainless Steel, Galvanized, Steel, Copper, Bronze, Exotics and Aluminum.
5. Piece size: Size Specific production can save Shipping, Labor and Waste!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can produce welded mesh up to 88" in width and single pieces up to 40' in length. Depending on the wire size we can produce rolls up to 500' long. By customizing the size of your pieces you can save waste. No minimum size or piece requirements so don't waste money ordering sheets and cutting them down.
